In 2025 Blue Shield of CA is planning to switch its Rx manager to Mark Cuban’s Cost Plus Drug Company and Amazon Pharmacy. It will be interesting to see if this strategy delivers satisfactory customer service to members and reduces costs. CVS Health’s Caremark has been Blue Shield’s PBM partner for more than 15 years.
